My Story
Who doesn't love when their house smells like a home? Better yet, who doesn't love when you go to someone else's house and it smells just as good? I was drawn in when I was at a friend's house one day. I questioned her about a plug-in that was in her bathroom. It was so pretty as it lit up on the bathroom wall---and smelled so clean! She mentioned the name Scentsy to me, but it was something I have only seen or heard of recently. After that, I connected with a friend of my husband's accross the country that I knew sold Scentsy, found out more about it, looked at her website, and ordered plug-ins for the entire house! That's where my obsession started! I live in a bi-level home, where every room has a plug-in or two and/or a warmer (sometimes, two). I love to entertain, but I have four cats and two dogs. I am overly concerned with cleanliness, and how my house smells when people enter-no matter who they are, or how many times they've been here! The last thing I want people to think is that my home smells like my pets. It DOESN'T, thanks to Scentsy! When we have company over for the first time, they comment on how great the house smells. When we tell them we have pets (we put them away when company is over)...what pets we have/how many, people can't believe it and would never have known if we didn't say anything! I absolutely love that there are no more open flames in my house. You never know if and when the dogs will bump into the coffee table that has a lit candle on it...or if and when a cat jumps on a surface that they aren't supposed to and knocks a lit candle over. I always check the candles a million times before we leave to go anywhere to make sure they are out! Now, I don't have to! I also love that they aren't hot for when my friend's kids come over--little fingers won't get burned!! To top it off, I love that I can change scents so quickly and easily!! What's not to love!!! My husband comments all the time about "how awesome it smells" in every room in the house. He never did that before Scentsy! He is also addicted to having Luna in his car as a Scent Circle or Room Spray--YUM! I joined Scentsy as an independent consultant so that I can share my love and obsession for safe, wickless candles that don't give off toxic fumes! It's been a year so far, and I LOVE the company...the people I meet, and the system itself. It's a great opportunity---and so much fun!!!! Host a party and see just what I mean!
